Could the meditative practices, on a Buddhism context perhaps, help preventing diseases such as dementia and Alzheimer's? I ask that because nowadays meditation has revealed so many benefits to one's health, and, as I am learning about Buddhism, I really became interested in this issue.
Additionally, I wonder if playing games that are good for our brain, like sudoku and strategy games, is a good practice yet on a Buddhist perspective - they can be a very protective tool against brain damaging
